Program Design Program design creates a complete, robust and executable program plan, and puts the governance framework and processes in place to manage program delivery.

When the full dimensions of the change are known, the next step is to create an implementable program. We help clients build a causal model of the program that documents how the targeted results will actually be achieved. Building the model allows gaps to be filled, alternatives to be examined, outcomes to be optimized, and unnecessary work to be eliminated – prior to committing resources.

The model specifies all of the critical components of the program, and serves as a diagnostic tool and management dashboard during program delivery. Impacts of delays, or problems with individual initiatives, are made apparent through dependencies in the model.
